Fall Festival was successful because of your support! As we approach a new school year with refreshing ideas, let’s remember the great time we spent together on that day. Our target goals were to attract more families, connect with parents to discuss PTA and school safety, share resources for families that are in our community, raise money through a silent auction and provide more activities for the kids. A high-five to accomplishing our goals!
Thank you to local restaurants and shops for donating gift cards and to Winn Dixie and Golden Flake for donating food. I am also grateful for the silent auction donations that were provided by the students who used their artistic talent and for the basket donations provided by the parents. A big thank you to all of the volunteers and participants that provided resources and interactive activities for the students. Next year, expect progress because Avondale will continue to soar!
